"Fighting the terra-ists over there so we don't have to..."
fight them over here"

:wtf:

When the dunce parrots these words I can just see all the kool-aid drinkers agreeing with a hearty, "Makes sense to me!"

Seriously, what in the hell does that phrase mean?

Like are they distracted or something? What kind of half-brained idiot could understand, much less, agree with this insanity?

1. I read it as...
killing us over there so they don't have to come here to do it.

Never mind that we didn't need to fight Iraqis in the first place.

2. The Iraqi's will think twice before they attack us again
or something like that. things don't have to make sense anymore, so we can all relax a bit.

...this one makes perfect sense to me. And, he's right about it. I know it's difficult to admit, but that GWB is one sly little devil!

Here's how it works: 9/11 was the new Pearl Harbor. It was a brilliant and outrageous moment, and for whomever pulled it off, it was a stroke of genius. It was an opportunity for the NeoCons to pursue their agenda, and they jumped on it. The US response to it was EXACTLY what Bin Laden was hoping for. The US military invaded a Muslim nation. Two, in fact. The US response has been even more outrageous than 9/11 was. Do you understand that?

Now think about it: Has there been a rash of terrorist actions in this country? Are all of those suicide bombings in New York, LA, Boston and D.C. getting you down? I thought not. All of the energy and outrage in the Muslim world is focused in the Muslim world. It's focused on the crime that is being commited in Iraq. Al Qaeda is probably recruiting at a furious pace, and sending "insurgents" to fight the military forces of "The Great Satan" that has invaded a sovereign Muslim nation! Crusade and Jihad are the same thing.

And what's a few thousand US troop casulties to a NeoCon? Peanuts! Nobody cares about the Iraqis, and nobody ever has. The US is killing "enemies" at a rate of about a thousand to one. We wouldn't be able to do that if it were the streets of New York, LA, Boston and D.C. We've created such outrage in Iraq that there are certain to be many many young Muslim men who are ready willing and able to Martyr themselves in Iraq just to take ONE US soldier with them! Rather than customers at your local Starbucks. That's what that line means.

Personally, I think the overall agenda has always been to kill off as many poor people as they can, as quickly as they can. Personally, I've always thought that Bin Laden was down with that agenda, killing off as many poor Muslim men as possible. Not enough jobs, you know. I've always thought he was as full of shit as the BFEE, and even one of their butt-boys. I mean, c'mon, he took CIA money to fight the Soviets. His role in all of this has been very strange and even contradictory. If he had ANYTHING to do with 9/11, he's on "our" side of history and knows it, in the long run, by playing "enemy." By sending guys with little guns to die in the killing fields of Iraq.

Does this help?
