We Need a "Real" President
We all know leadership is sorely lacking in the Bush administration.

A real compassionate leader/ruler always has his people in his mind and heart! Look at the difference a change in the White House had made:

1998

President Clinton flew to Raleigh, N.C., to tour damage caused by Floyd

2003

President Bush, ensconced at his Camp David retreat, declared North Carolina and Virginia major disaster areas, qualifying them for federal funds.

Not only is Bush a liar, he's a self-serving coward.

BUSH LIED PEOPLE DIED

1. has he been anywere?
Has George visited any of the US troops that have returned home injured from Iraq ?

I mean it is part of a leader's duties to do these sorts of thing..provide inspiration for citizens and offer thanks etc.

2. But, But, But, he visited Ground Zero
Much after days of hiding, and, apparently laughing according to a recent interview. And after Clinton had already been on the scene.

3. Not only that ...
but Al Gore showed up and stood right at the edge of the river in Cincinnati back in 1993, during the last major Ohio River flood, with the mayor (Roxanne Qualls, a Dem).

I know a lot of the really disgusting Cinci Repukes called it a 'photo op,' back then, but even if it was just a photo op -- where's Groundhog Dick? They're slipping in the polls, you'd think he'd take this chance to be seen standing in the middle of a demolished house looking sympathetic. That used to be the veep's job, if the Prez didn't do it -- touring disaster areas.

Oh, wait -- did I say Cheney should stand in the middle of anything looking sympathetic?

Never mind.

5. Bill Bennett Visited Las Vegas
Tourist revenues are down drastically! Thank heavens for civic minded Bill Bennett, that paragon of virtues. Yep, he dropped a bundle at the tables. Gotta keep that money in circulation.
