I hear this over and over here at DU and everywhere else...The same old lament at the latest atrocity or lie pulled off by the sociopaths in the white house...or the latest sickness done by the corporate all devouring monsters,or at some bully loudmouth trying to make the world forget what's doing the hurting..Or some military madman excusing himself in a beauracracy..

Always... Somebody should stop them.

Who's this somebody?

Is Somebody,some mysterious hero on a white horse?
Some deceptive but charismatic lover of the disenfranchised masses?
A new nice boss who'll become same as the old crappy boss once his way of doing things becomes the status quo?

Another damn career politician with a nice suit who looks dashing to the voters?
Another wordsmithing two faced loudmouth who spins yarns and knits solutions made of red tape ,the most disgusting things in people and hot air?
Another wealthy "common man" to be bribed into corruption behind closed doors again?


I see it everywhere, this Dependancy on the machinery of Empire to fix,empire...Hah! Fat chance it'll fix itself because it exists to serve itself and it's creators at the top.

Using Empire to fix what we needed to fix long ago as a community,by ourselves and with each other.Don'cha get it folks,we are the new world every minute we stop and think,share and dream.. Is like curing cancer with cyanide..

Oh,I hear it again and again here,everywhere online ,How the system is soo corrupted! DOOOo Something somebody!! Bush is Eeevil! Somebody Oughta! Rumsfeld is a monster,Heeelp meee! Then why does everyone go on reaching up like toddlers to these colonialistic parents,saying I can't!

Looking for"Somebody" is keeping on clinging to the dead husk of the same old way of empire that hasen't served anyone but the looters and "colonistic parents" who enforce it's status quos and amnesias..that's what's killing us.

Oh it's so easy to forget who we are when we are all slowly being stolen away from ourselves,our lives,our memories,dreams, our relationships, even the very earth under our feet is being burned away.Oh look at CNN,Howabout them O's,I had some nice herbed chicken today,I ,I. .I Aaaargh!

We each forgot each one of us can be a "somebody"Because we are taught to believe we are nobodies.That is life under a colonbialist midset.Boss act like a jerk? Kick the dog yell at the kids,little king.

"Someone" is YOU who does not sell integrity and autonomy to the highest bidder in lean times ,Or sell out to the biggest bully, and the biggest liar or sit at home like Repunzel in a tower prision,waiting for any hero on a horse who looks so good today but will rot as surely as any king rots once he's put on the pedestal..above us,who's power is in how he's holding the sustenance of life we all need because we all exist just for himself.
Each one of us who risks it all can stop this machine but it might hurt.We have nothing to lose in walking away and remembering..nothing to gain in this sell out cowardice.



Oh forget it there's no time to dream beyond the barriers of this empire today with the company-god's glaring judgemental greedy eyes,his whistle to his never to mature,children calling them back into servitude and control with it's imperious squawk.It's to dangerous to dare act in defiance of "authority"if it risks anything real.

Risk is not an option today ,I got kids to send to college so they can compeate in a crazy game stacked against them from the beginning.Do ya ,got a huge empty house to pay off and shop to fill up, and a car that takes alot of gas just to get away from that empty hole insidewhere love used to be. This "empire" mindset has two sides master and slave..It will not stop using the same old rationalizations until people learn to get the courage within to not answer to it's demands or it's stupid gibberish relating as human beings long enough to think of new ways to reply to each other that dosen't envolve empire or dependance on somebodies with bigger clout.

And one new way is to stop waiting for this magical ~somebody~..else..this somebody "hero" ..Is he some half assed semi honest looking "representative" set up by somebody else to speak to the hostage holders,on behalf of hostages who canot feel thier own souls anymore who don't know how to not recreate anew this same old prison of hurt and forget and bicker about it,relying on Mr.Hero who wants nothing more than his own "sucess" in this system?

This same old Red white and blue rome.Yawn Revolution again.. Here we all sit and dispair in this same old game made of what should have never been made in the first place.

I'm sorry but I can't jump on your dean bandwagon.
I know he might say a few things to desperate people who can't think thier way out,that sound all nice but what is he? He wants to be a politician.They all say alot of things to get elected but somehow fail to walk thier talk in real life because they have no integrity if it means they might have to give a little more than talk and bite the hands that feed them.If he can't do what makes the top 1% percent of the wealthy uncomfortable with what they do and give back than what is he but a pipe dream on two legs AGAIN.This IS deeper than a class war.It's overthrowing of opression a deep systemic opression.

Truthfully, if this man was to understand what I am saying, he would have no chance of being elected because people spend alot of time avoiding the truth of how painful our lives are when we are opressed.
He would be seen as a threat to the status quo's hold on power.Maybe he'd get shot like Martin Luther King or Malcom X.
Does he understand it is the very structure of a top down hierarchical power "system" is sick in of itself? It's wrong and it's killing us.

The same old system he seeks to"reform"/ preserve is only his prettied up version meet the new boss same as the old boss.Look he is running for poltical office just like all career politicians do.I don't trust any of them anymore because they don't have any guts or integrity

As long as he assumes obscene wealth belongs to the colonist thieves in power that steal it from those who don't have any political power or the means to live thier lives and fails to call that crime against life itself for all to hear and understand ,and does something radical enough to heal it for real,like admit and discuss the traumas infliced on humanity by this kind of society than I can't support him. This political reality as it is done in this culture is abusive and it is sick as it is pervasive.
