We Gave Fallujah the Deuteronomy 20:16 Treatment
Deuteronomy 20:16
"But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth"

or, in modern terms, "if it breaths, kill it".

Another Bible passage that seems to fit is:

Joshua 6:21
"And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword."

Turns out that Genocide was a favorite pastime of God back in the day. He (sometimes directly, sometimes through the Israelites, sometimes together) regularly "smote" people, ordering everyone to be killed - all the men, women, children and even the animals!

A (nowhere near comprehensive) list is here:

1. Fallujah was known as the City of Mosques
and we leveled it and the mosques taking out centuries of history.

I do not blame the military. My nephew marine was in one of the first three "kill teams" to take back the city. He helped scrape up the remains of one of his buddies for sending back for burial.

I feel so badly for our kids over there.

2. I also feel badly for all of the innocent Iraqi civilians....
...that were killed, wounded, or gone without a trace, as well as the tens of thousands that were driven from their homes. I also don't blame the Iraqis for defending their homes...they've been "scraping up" quite a few of their dead, haven't they?

And why are all of these people...Americans, Iraqis, and others...being killed and maimed? Ask the NeoCons...they've probably thought up another pack of lies to tell us.
