12. Guilty of what?
These charges are much like handing a 2 year old a loaded gun... then saying the child is 'responsible' for firing the gun. I would never say Saddam was guilty, until the perps who handed him all the power and all the weapons were put on trial WITH him!

You want to ruin the whole necktie party by asking stupid questions like who it is?

10. Well Hell, I assumed You Meant MJ!
I suspected not guilty for him.

Saddam Guilt on all counts and sentenced to death.

Not that I doubt they are both guilty, I just doubt there is anything like a fair trial for either of them!

11. Not guilty
since Saddam was the dictatorial head of state in Iraq at the time, I don't believe that he could break his own laws.

It is very true that Saddam has committed many international war crimes, however he is being prosecuted by an Iraqi government formed only in 2005. Would the newly formed United States government prosecute crimes committed under British rule prior to 1776?

22. I don't deny that he is responsible for heinous acts
just that I don't see how he can be guilty under Iraqi law.

You will note that other prominent dictators like Milosevic and Pinochet are coming to justice under international systems of law. To have Saddam tried and most likely executed in Iraq is merely a bone thrown to the Iraqis to appease their vengeance. It is not in my opinion compatible with the logic of government and law.

13. Yes, he'll be found guilty of at least one (probably all) charges, No it
won't be a fair trial.

Odds are that even with a fair trial he would be convicted (and should be), but I doubt that this trial will even come close to fairness.

Saddam is charged with.

17. Just because Saddam is guilty does not justify war
The war was never sold to the American people as being against Saddam. The trial is going to be used to divert attention away from the DSM and WMD to Saddam.
