Ok... My Count Is That We Have 3 Memos So Far... Is This Correct ???
And how come the other two being discussed here, aren't posted a downingstreetmemo.com???

Or did I miss them somehow?

They seem to have been verified by the BBC, and they all seem to point to the same damning conclusion.

Does Conyers have all 3, does Randi Rhodes, et. al. have them???

1. “We expect to release new documents...
...that corroborate the Downing Street memo," a Judiciary aide, speaking on condition of anonymity, told RAW STORY Thursday afternoon. "None of the documents are as earth-shattering as the Downing Street minutes but all of them corroborate the accuracy of what it says.”

20. Okay...
So does anyone know if the reports that the white house is withholding on Bolton have anything to do with the DSM case? Wasn't he one of the key players in manipulating the intelligence reports? Am I totally off base on that?

5. Condaleeza Rice minutes.
They had decided on regime change long before the idea would be sold to the public.

9. How about Rumsfeld's note hours after the attack?
Remember he had handwritten the following note:

"best info fast. Judge whether good enough hit S.H. at same time. Not only UBL. Go massive. Sweep it all up. Things related and not."

16. Thanks for the welcome!!
I usually just read the posts on here (many times a day!), but I hadn't seen anyone mention Rumsfeld's note, so I thought I should bring it up. To me it is definite proof that they wanted an excuse to invade Iraq... even if it meant fixing the intelligence.

8. Al-Jazeera says Kerry is to call for impeachment.
I also notice Democratic Underground got a special mention.

John Kerry to call for impeachment of George Bush

John Kerry announced Thursday that he intends to present Congress with The Downing Street Memo, reported last month by the London Times. The memo purports to include minutes from a July 2002 meeting with Tony Blair, in which Blair allegedly said that President Bush's administration "fixed" intelligence on Iraq in order to justify the Iraqi war.

The Boston Globe published an article by Ralph Nader, Tuesday, in which Nader also called for President Bush's impeachment. The story is being carried on Michael Moore's website and the Democratic Underground.

Failed presidential candidate Kerry advised that he will begin the presentation of his case for President Bush's impeachment to Congress, on Monday.

Kerry said of the memo: "When I go back on Monday, I am going to raise the issue. I think it's a stunning, unbelievably simple and understandable statement of the truth and a profoundly important document that raises stunning issues here at home. And it's amazing to me the way it escaped major media discussion. It's not being missed on the Internet, I can tell you that."

12. Note: aljazeera.com is NOT the TV station
It's a 'magazine' (possibly just the website) with a similar name:

However, it's nice to see someone taking notice of DU.

21. "Fuck Saddam. We're taking him out."
http://www.time.com/time/archive/preview/0,10987,1101030331-435968,00.html

" F___ Saddam. we're taking him out." Those were the words of President George W. Bush, who had poked his head into the office of National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice. It was March 2002, and Rice was meeting with three U.S. Senators, discussing how to deal with Iraq through the United Nations, or perhaps in a coalition with America's Middle East allies. Bush wasn't interested. He waved his hand dismissively, recalls a participant, and neatly summed up his Iraq policy in that short phrase. The Senators laughed uncomfortably; Rice flashed a knowing smile. The President left the room....
