Most US casualties in Iraq are from small towns |
|
I heard this on NPR this morning from a military spokesperson talking about recruiting problems and how they're having more problems in urban areas - therefore most recruits (and casualties) are from small towns / suburbs.
Are urban folks more anti-military / anti-war? Or they just smarter about not buying into the military BS? My guess is - it's both.

1. Cross reference this with voting from 2004 |
|
You will find urban areas tended to vote for Kerry, rural areas for Bush.
