13. I made a similar point yesterday after watching the DNC executive

meeting on C-Span. I got frustrated because we are trying to win back a country and a woman asked the DNC executive committee to come down on violence on TV and in movies. Thought it was just another case of finding a "moral" issue that Dems can argue about among ourselves and is too small time to worry about now. We have other fish to fry without another diversion.

Boy, some DUs let me have it. I wasn't watching, paying attention, missed the point. Okay. But I was pretty sure this chick was cherry picking another issue that will bite us in the butt. And that was my point exactly. It was just another case of thinking small. The DNC is STILL letting the RNC frame our debates on moral issues using another damn poll. Polls are handy but if we keep using polls to jump from issue to issue like a frog going from lily pad to lily pad we are going to sink and never form a cohesive unit to win back elections.

Violence on TV and in movies - shiny thing, shiny thing! Perfect analogy.
