Prediction, this week is going to be TWICE as bad for Bush
As the information starts flowing like a waterfall out of the CIA spooks and State Department career diplomats (Yes, they will want to save their jobs and/or reputations) you know the press is going to attack like Vampires on acid. After all, a scandal this big makes for GREAT ratings!

Make sure you buy some popcorn!

1. I hope you are right
But everytime I have predicted the end of the Bush "honeymoon", (which just goes on and on and on) something seems to happen or something is orchestrated by Karl Rove.

2. Well, the reason why this is different is:
Rove already tried to orchestrate something, he tried to blame the CIA!!! That's how desperate they've become.

When will they blame the French?

7. Tomorrow'd be an awfully pissy time to try
Bastille Day, and all.

Of course, we're oblivious to anyone else's culture, but were someone to accuse us of something like this on the fourth of July, there'd be spitting hatred from sea to shining sea.

6. The *only* thing that will make this week better for * is:
the fact that he is back in his little insulated shell here on US soil. Those foreign trips with reporters pretty free to ask questions are VERY taxing on his pea brain......

But his administration will certainly get a dose of sorely deserved medicine.

14. people keep saying "popcorn"
This is not fun ... it's painful. The important thing is that the White House concentrates on real threats instead of coming up with who they think should be considered a threat and then saying whatever they have to to make congress and the public agree with them.

There are people out there who would love to attack our embassies and homeland. This is serious, not entertainment.

17. I Know What You're Sayin, But...
These idiots are either incompetent, or criminal. The fact that they are probably both (criminally incompetent), makes for a 'gallows humor' pleasure in watching them self-destruct.

These fuckers have NOT made any of us any safer from those who would do us harm. In fact, they have made the world a far more dangerous place because of their assinine, and unconstitutional policies!
