CSPAN2 moves to Digital cable (extra charge) by Time Warner Cable Houston |
|
WTF is up with that?
Cable bill says that effective 7/27, 3 channels are changing numbers, but CSPAN2 will require a digital converter and Digital Value Package subscription.
So, tell me about Dish Network...

1. I've had Dish for 8 years |
|
Except for one year when I had Direct tv. I got rid of that when Rupert Murdoch bought it.
I love Dish Network. I can watch Amy Goodman live every morning at 8:00 am on FSTV, and it's rebroadcast several times a day. And you have Link TV, and several college channels.

I've had DISH since Mar 2001 and I love it. It has FSTV, and UCTV and other great channels. I am very happy with it.

4. They probably did that due to the influx... |
|
of new viewers to C-Span 2. I know I didn't watch C-Span much until after the elections this year, now I watch all the time. The Mainstream medai has cancelled the news... where else are people going to turn to see it happen spin-free?? The cable companies can make a little bank on it now and they're taking advantage.
