I feel sorry for Dan Abrams |
|
He is forced to cover all the bullshit stories - you know that when he took this job he was glad to do it, and probably hoped he would now be a "real journalist" and get to do great interviews. How emasculating. From Schiavo to Aruba to Jackson ad nauseum. Do you think he feels any self-loathing at the "story-of-the-month" whore they force him to be every night?
I feel bad for him in the way I feel sorry for Keith Olbermann when he was "all Lewinsky all the time" on his old show before Countdown.
How do you do that every night without losing your mind. Wishing your producers would surprise you one day with a killer interview list on a real story.
What a piss-poor way to make a buck.

whenever I catch part of his show, it is because I am waiting for the show after or it comes on because of the show before ending (the one I actually wanted to watch).
I remember a quote from Olbermann somewhere about how hard it was for him to do "A White House in Crisis". Danny-Boy must be in the same boat.

3. Both could get lucky if all this memo stuff takes hold! |
|
Maybe even a trial in Tx for DeLay? After all, Tom's buddies have already been indited. If all this gets HOT, they could be the most popular shows on cable!

7. all the goofy shows doing "The Memo" |

wouldn't that be lovely! Flipping through the news channels and seeing sad pics of Bush and Cheney and Condi in the top right-hand corner.
What a world!

9. I like Dan....have you seen Tucker's show? |
|
Now that's annoying!
Dan's Chief Legal Analyst for MSNBC, so his show's are more in depth than the fluff pieces you get during the day. Very intelligent, and honest legal discussions. I like his laid back demeanor too, unlike the over-caffeinated Tweety :)

10. I managed to watch about 5 minutes of Carlson, and decided |
|
who ever decided on this format, is a bigger idiot than Tucker! He was an asshat on Crossfire, but once in a while, he actually stepped back and admitted he was wrong. This show is worse than a fluff peice at it's worst!!!
