The Today Show covered the DSM
I only caught the tail end, but am about to catch it again in replay in the Central time zone. I think it was in the first 12-15 min. of the show.

1. Tim Russert admitted the DSM poses a big problem for B*sh
which was an unusual statement, coming from him. And Katie Couric pointed out that the polls show the majority of Americans oppose the war.

Pretty amazing, considering the source.

2. With all the polls they are realizing that no matter what propoganda

they see which way the wind is blowing.

Editing to add this... 560,000 signatures on a petition that took only a few days to get might make them start thinking that its worthy of "questioning". I bet CSpan had a higher viewership yesterday!

4. You don't need Al Roker, the Today weatherman
to know which way the wind's blowing

(apologies to B. Dylan)

10. These polls keep proving to me that Kerry really did win the election.
Ever since the election, on all of the major issues and ones that rate his popularity, ** has been behind in polls.

6. Anyone who cannot understand the following words would have
to be an absolute idiot, and these words cannot be avoided anymore....

But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.

7. I watched "The Early Show" and I'm listeing to "Morning Propaganda"
CBS was all about Tom Cruise getting bearded and the earthquakes in Collie-For-Nya.

And both of them are all about Scotty MacMumble's "outrage" over Dick Durbin's comments. Dick hasn't appologised, even though Scotty has thrown the Holy Hand Grenade of claiming that Durbin is "Endangering of Troops"

Oh-NPR is having a piece on how some at the VOA claim they're "being pressured" to produce pro-US news stories....
You think so?

8. One of the big items on Today was the tragic store of the pregnant
woman in a coma. I just had an awful vision of the Today Show doing a day by day baby watch.......

Who broke the story, and WHY? Her husband? The Hospital? The US Information agency?

Where are those hungry sharks when you need them?

11. Speaking of Sen. Durbin, I sent him an email this morning:
Dear Senator Durbin,

Thank you for speaking out yesterday on the floor of the Senate. You are restoring some of the pride I once had in being an American.

Please continue to speak for those of us who have no voice.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxx, MA

I'm sure he is taking some serious heat. Perhaps you could drop him a thank you at his web site. Link:

13. Done!
"Thank you Senator Durbin!

Never apologize! Do NOT back down, you have the truth on your side. Besides, having Sean Hannity blow a gasket over your remarks can only mean you're on to something."

14. The GOP Today Show surprised me
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 08:42 AM by Chicago1
I almost spit my coffee out when I heard them talking about this issue. They actually spoke the truth about what happened with the DSM and the revelation that everything was FIXED.

Waiting for the IMPEACHMENT WHILE THE SCANDALS KEEP UNFOLDING

wearing and how fashionable Joe Wilson is? Fucking useless media whores!
