So Conyers thanks DU, AND
the cheapest(I say frugal)woman in the world, as my husband says just gave her first ever political contribution. Sure I bought the signs, the shirts and wrote the letters..about and for various politicians before..but I never admired anybody quite like this-at a time when it has NEVER been needed more.

After yesterday, after all he has done for the voting issue..well it shouldn't have taken a DU thank-you.

The guy has given me faith in being an American again. What price is that?

It's not false hope-it just seeing the little guy doing the right thing against the monster. It doesn't matter as much that he wins even, just that he exists.

1. Thanks for your contribution-I think we all have to be off the sidelines
in the times we live in. We can't be bystanders while these criminals steal our country away from us. Standing up for the truth many times is
a lonely, scary and intimidating act, but it is always the right thing to do. I, personally, feel an obligation to those who have fought for our rights over the years, be it against foreign enemies or corrupt businesses who abuse workers, to keep on the good fight.

2. Priceless! You and Conyers both! Thank you!

And isn't it nice to know we've got about 600,000 close friends?

I can't afford to donate, but I've volunteered to help when Conyers comes here to San Diego on the 25th. This is a great sacrifice on my part, as my volunteer work with the event means that I might have to miss his speeches. But it is more important to me to support him than to actually see him.
