Ok. We signed the petition. Now we have to contact our |
|
Reps. and Senators. Does anyone have a connection to a site that can do that with a couple of clicks? ie Moveon, TrueMajority.org???
If the petition drew 560,000 signatures within just a few days, how many offices can we flood with emails/faxes?

I was thinking of a site that would take on an organized approach to this.
One that can generate a Form letter, asking for an investigation.
It has to be made as easy as possible. That's why I used Moveon and TrueMajority as an example.
This way we can email the link (like we did the petition) to others, and within a minute they in turn can send off the email/fax.

3. Suggest wording please.... |
|
I've been listening w. one ear.
Something like "please support Rep. Conyers petition to president to explain circumstances of decision to invade" etc. etc. ?
Or is there a better way to put it?

It is critical to investigate what led to the war in Iraq. The only way to honor the dead is to find and tell the truth.

I am writing to respectfully request that you support an invetigation into the reasons why were led into war. In light of the surfacing of the Downing Street Minutes(memo is a misnomer), it appears as if President Bush lied to Congress, the American people and to the world in order to justify his pre-emptive attack on Iraq. This would be considered a high crime and treason. An impeachable offense.
This is not a partisan issue.
In the words from the minutes
But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.
Thank you for your kind attention.
Sincerely,
