QUESTIONS reporters should ask Bush and/or his flaks?

In light of DSM, it's time for another round of this, which we should then send to the most impertinent White House reporters.

Some I'd like to hear asked (knowing full well Bush won't give a coherent example):

"President Bush, Dick Cheney and neocon underlings like John Bolton pressured intelligence analysts to change their findings. Why did they want analysts to lie?"



"President Bush, do you think your plan to privatize and sieze Iraq's oil is inflaming the insurgency?"

"President Bush, if we want to teach the Iraqis about democracy, why did you deny the new government's request to take control of their intelligence services?"

"Mr. Bush, if the new Iraqi government asked you to renounce all claim to Iraq's oil would you do so?"

"Mr. Bush, opinion polls of Iraqis including one by your own Coalition Provisional Authority show that Iraqis wanted us to leave at the latest immediately after their election. Why are we staying in violation of their wishes? What is that teaching them about democracy?"

"Mr. Bush, several former members of your cabinet have said you planned to invade Iraq from the very beginning of your administration, and a Freedom of Information Act request from Dick Cheney's energy task force lead to release of a map of Iraq. How would you have sold the war in Iraq without 9/11?"

"George, Saudi Arabia gave hundreds of millions of dollars to Al Qaeda and Pakistani intelligence had extensive ties with them and contact with the 9/11 hijackers, yet you seem untroubled by this and continue to treat them as trusted allies. Do you con demn those actions, do you not care because you benefitted from them, or were they acting at the direction of your administration?


"George, referring to your PR campaign to drum up support for Iraq, Andy Card said it started in September because "From a marketing point of view, you don't introduce new products in August" when no one is paying attention." Is this why the World Trade Center attack was planned for September?"

"Baby Bush, what part of the 9/11 plan went wrong?"


"Baby Bush, you were a fighter pilot. How long would it have taken you to intercept one of those hijacked planes in your F-102 from, say, 200 or so miles away? Why do you suppose it took NORAD so long to do something that day, intercept aircraft, that they have been doing routinely for decades?"

"Chimp-faced retard, the military is having trouble meeting their quota of volunteers. Would you ask your daughters to join? What about Jeff Gannon?"

"Chimp-faced sociopathic retard, if a wealthy child of privilege tells lies that results in the death of others and even orders the murder of innocent civilians for financial gain, should he tried and punished the same as a someone who shoots a clerk in a convenience store robbery? What justification is there for punishing less severely someone who kills over 100,000 to steal hundreds of billions?"

Following 9-11, despite internal reports to the contrary, you told people there was no lasting physiological danger present at "Ground Zero" and let thousands of first responders and New Yorkers suffer potentially ruinous environmental exposure to deadly toxins. Does this bother you more or less than your having let more than three thousand die in the span of an hour for a "new Pearl Harbor"?
