My Downing Street Memo LTTE...
Bush Is A War Criminal.

The Downing Street Minutes are evidence that Bush lied this country into war in Iraq, a war that did not have to be fought, a war in which thousands of people are dead and maimed because of rightwing insanity that dismisses truth and embraces propaganda.

The Downing Street Minutes have not been refuted by Bush or Blair. At a time when public statements were being made of war being “the last resort,” the opposite was true, which is appropriate for this administration. Facts schmacts. They don’t count for much in the Bushworld.

The Minutes further state that Bush was “fixing the facts around the policy.” A fancy way of saying that the Bush administration was cherry-picking intelligence they wanted to use to justify a war and ignoring intelligence that refuted their claims. The no longer in existence – Office of Special Plans was used to bypass the analysts who were refuting the lies at CIA.

To this day the lies of Bush/Cheney continue to pile up. Bush tries as best he can to link the debacle in Iraq with the War on Terrorism, and Cheney has told us the Insurgency in Iraq is in its “last throes”. Reality check! Has anyone told the Army and Marines this bit of information, who are getting blown-up everyday by weapons that should have been secured during the invasion phase? Other than the Oil Ministry, did the Bush administration have a plan for securing the REAL weapons along with the fictitious ones?

The Downing Street Minutes are just one of many official documents that are being leaked by insiders knowledgeable of the corruption from within. The Iraq war was a lie sold through manipulation of intelligence by rightwing radicals who have taken over the government. Not only are these grounds for impeachment but grounds for imprisonment.

People are dying because this President wanted a war.

When it comes to war, Bush has no problem sending other people’s kids off to kill and die in a trumped up war that is unjust, illegal and immoral. But he certainly knew how to avoid one when his own hide was on the line. When it was his turn to fight in Vietnam, he had his daddy pull strings to jump over many other people waiting to get into the Texas Air National Guard so he could avoid having to go to Vietnam. Then he deserted.

Through Supreme Court chicanery and voting fraud we the rational thinking citizens are left with this turkey running the country into the ground. When will the sane people in the Republican Party stand up and stop the madness?
