Look at those headlines, articles and videos. David Shuster's article is right on...read it.
{snip)
The administration seems to think that by shifting the justification for the war or changing what administration officials said 3 years ago, the president's poll numbers will magically turn around. The pretzel shaped logic of this strategy is mind-boggling. And one begins to wonder if the gang that helped President Bush win a 2nd term has been stuffed into a closet.
DSM on Hardball.
Richard Haass video for his new book: Jun. 16: In his new book, The Opportunity, Richard Haass argues that the U.S. is not taking full advantage of its opportunity to usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and freedom.
Has someone changed the policy? I stopped watching all news channels after the stolen election, but I might take another look if this keeps up.

It may take an awful long time, but in the long run the American people are basically good, and not entirely stupid, and at some point they wake up and smell the coffee.
We just have to make sure they don't take over with election fraud, or stage another disaster and implement martial law.

|
At least SOMEBODY out there is adhering to the SPJ Code of Ethics! Check out their website if you get a chance! I've printed the actual document so that I can reference it when I need to question the other "shrill" journalists!
peace.

were planning to go long before they went to Congress for approval.
Overall it was a good show, but this needed to be spelled out in simple-stupid detail.

130. In Schuster's preview, O'Neil and his book were mentioned |
|
where at the first cabinet meeting the blivet brought up going after Saddam, in early 2001, prior to 9/11. So the intent was there and this admin just kept following that intent through. Yet this fact wasn't mentioned at all. Damn. But I'm happy this got out there to this extent!

132. I agree. And, indeed, that is the impeachable offence-- |
|
withholding intelligence or lying to Congress, as * damn well did when he submitted the letter 48 hours after the invasion began--he lied about our reasons for going to war and withheld any evidence that did NOT support Iraq being a threat to our security.
THAT's the issue. It's the legality, folks.
