They said the response is right down the middle. The capital switchboard number is 1-800 648-3516. Let him know he has our support!

if I should also call my milquetoast Dem Senator, Max Baucus, and tell HIM as well that I support Kennedy?

5. Great idea--I think Q posted this idea on a thread |
|
yesterday in support of Sen. Kennedy that we should also call our Dem reps and senators and ask them to stick up for Kennedy since it seems that any brave Dem is usually left to twist in the wind alone.

3. Done, and thanks for posting that number... |
|
as I can never find it when I need it.
The gentleman who answered at Senator Kennedy's office was really nice and the call was free. Quite a two-fer.
Thanks.

12. I posted about it twice on Sunday - Kennedy's numbers are: |
|
in Washington (202) 224 - 4543
and in Boston (617) 565 - 3170
I also posted Tom DeLay's numbers, to give him hell for giving Kennedy hell:
in Washington (202) 225 - 5951
and in Texas (281) 240 - 3700
The toll free switchboard number is good, but it does get tied up. For those who can afford the long distance call, those other numbers are it.
AND, ABSOLUTELY, call your own Congressmembers and Senators and let them know they MUST support Ted Kennedy, and that Ted Kennedy is 100 percent correct that this was a "FRAUD made up in Texas."
If they think we don't care, THEY WON'T, EITHER!!!
