David Brooks in Fantasyland. |
|
For a man who avoided military service when needed, David Brooks is full of spit and vinegar this morning in the NYT (6/23/2005) advising the general public that the war's trajectory ( I like pompous asses using words to conceal the true nature of war) is unknowable. He claims if we desert Iraq now, it will turn into a terrorist state. Then why were you so eager to invade a country that had no connection to terrorism, Mr.Brooks?
Through all the drivel one can see that the loss of the war's popularity is sending fear through the spine of this spineless critter. If he had an ounce of decency he would apologize to Cindy Sheehan for supporting a war in which Casey Sheehan paid the ultimate price. For nothing except the glorification of Brooks' Maximum Leader.
