9. I think there may be a little something else going on
I think she might run for VP if asked by the right person. I just don't know if anyone really wants to take that chance. On the one hand she can sure get votes; on the other she sure could flush votes if we reach some of those moderate republicans. It may be best to let her "age" some more.

and her Universal Health care plan...that every other civilized nation in the world has for it’s people…is your health plan all you want or need it to be, to protect your family and investments? Congratulations, most don't (60 million Americans have NO health coverage and tens of millions more are undercovered.) Do you care? Does Bush care? Will he try and fix it?

Or is it suppose to be every man for themselves, as the republicans raid our treasury?

Paying more for less coverage…Unions are the only way. and you know it to be true… only way to protect us workers and our families.

20. Sounds good, but it's wrong....Clinton's filthy fingerprints are all over
this. No VRWC here. Bill Clinton is the one fueling these rumors with his comments like the ones in Monterey, CA where he says "New Yorkers would forgive Hillary if she doesn't finish her term and decides to run for president. The decision is hers".
But allow me to tell you what is going on: What's happening is that Howard Dean has done unexpectedly well, a little TOO well for the Clintons. See, Dean is a real big threat to them because of his more liberal persuasion and the fact that he owes no favors to the Clintons. He is a true maverick torch bearer for the left. Clinton isn't of the left. He isn't of anything. Except himself. If you recall his role in welfare 'reform', the capital gains tax cut of 1995, and other conservative initiatives, you understand that he is hardly a liberal, except when it is politically expedient.
So what Clinton has done is installed his willing associate, Wesley Clark to fill in as a witting or unwitting siphon against Dean.
A guy like Clark totally covers the Clintons' asses in any scenario.
Here's how the scenarios read; First and foremost, should Bush's numbers continue to fall such that the Clintons deem him beatable, Hillary is in. And they will ask their pal Clark, who owes them much, to magnanamously step aside or stay on as her VEEP. And he will do so. Should they determine Bush can't be beaten next year, they have effectively assured the one guy they can't control, Dean, isn't going to win the nomination. See, Dean is a real problem because should he win the nomination, he may well win the Presidency. And this would be the worst possible case imaginable for the Clintons. But Clark is attractive-sounding enough to steal Dean's thunder, but incompetent enough because of his complete inexperience, never to win the presidency; thus, keeping the way clear for Hillary in 2008.
My advice to the Deans supporters: Stay strong. With Howard, we have a golden and rare opportunity to WIN the presidency with an avowed liberal....not a sheep who dons the 'liberal' label when it is convenient. Do NOT fall for this Clinton power grab. Lord knows we fell for his spell TWICE. Now we are paying the price. We've lost the last two election cycles we should have won HANDILY. Terry McAwful should have been relieved long ago. But with Clinton in control he's still there. And should Dean prevail, he'd no doubt ditch the incompetent boob McAwful in a heartbeat. Dean would become the power in the party and Clinton would be out.
To the Clark supporters. I know you mean well, but be prepared for the distinct possibility that you are being hornswoggled by the best poker player of them all: Bill Clinton. If the scenario unfolds as I have said with Hillary running, you will know right then that you have been had.

26. Clinton's "filthy fingerprints"???? Please don't forget that G.W. Bush
is not only a threat to liberals, progressives and moderates, but to the entire planet.

According to the latest polls Clark and Kerry both would beat Bush today. Somebody's put together a winning strategy and I'm damn glad they did. It is inconceivable at this point that they would interject Hillary and screw it all up.

BTW, Bill Clinton, even with his flaws, is likely the best president most Americans will ever see in their lifetime.

23. So you think Hillary's lying?
I live in New York. She has said repeatedly that she won't run for president in 2004. She said that during her senate campaign. She's still saying this.

Frankly, a Hillary Clinton candidacy is nothing more than a Republican fever dream designed to extract contributions from right-wing loonies.

28. Bill's comment trump Hillary's? I don't think so . . .
The last time I checked, Hillary was perfectly capable of decided for herself whether or not she's running for president. And she decided in 2000 that she would serve out her Senate term. And NOTHING she has said since has contradicted that.

I'm sure that in the past, when the press asked Hillary about her husband's campaign plans, she deferred to him. Methinks Bill was simply returning the favor.

Politically these two are in 100% cooperation and agreement. Nothing is done or said by accident. Everything has a well-designed purpose behind it.

I'm sorry but you just lost me with that remark. You sound more like a Fox News commentator than a Dean supporter. And mind you, although I am firmly in Clark's corner right now, make no mistake... if Dean wins the nomination I will crawl over broken glass to vote for Dean in the general election. Or any of the Dem candidates for that matter. I just want shrub OUT of the White House. Any one of the ten Dems would be better than the LUNKHEAD we have in office now.

Just my opinion...

She'll run again for Senator...and maybe years down the line, for president, maybe, if the climate is right...but this is complete bullshit...Gore will run in 2004, before Hillary Clinton will...just right-wingers stiring up bullshit...it brings in big donation bucks for the republicans.

She said she won't run and she won't...not a chance in 2004...

When do you think she might jump in? Next Febuary? Get real. Just more right-wing pontificating...and when she doesn't, will they retract their predictions...of course not. By then republican bucks will already be in.
