All these positive Clark threads. |
|
must mean he has some fanatical supporters, hmm? I still dont understand why a lot of people have to go so positive about a candidate that is so fresh that the new guy smell has hardly faded....
PS~ Sorry...I simply had to do it...Once again, I like that Clark is in the race, however I think his DU supporters need some serious doses of valium. No need for the fury of threads. Time my friends, time. There is so much to be determined here, policy wise especially (Healthcare being my #1) don't get caught up in a tornado of excitement now.

3. They were attracted in by other Clark supporters |

There weren't hardly any in DU in just a few weeks this place is crawling with them. I don't think that is a bad thing I just wish they would open up their eyes to other canidates and stop being "Clark is the only one that can win".

8. Why should we look at other candidates when.. |
|
in four days, Clark goes to the front of the pack and beats bush in a head to head poll? I'm sorry. I have to say it. That would be stupid to abandon the "unnamed dem" that polls show America has been waiting for, for one of the other guys. You so silly.
Can just one person admit that we Clarkies were right about Clark's appeal to the general electorate? I'm not saying Clark is a shoo in because he hasn't been battle tested. But our instincts about his appeal were dead on.
Also, please allow that we will be somewhat protective and forgiving of him because he is not a professional politician.

He's only just delcared, but there was a grassroots movement to draft him for months. There are a lot of people, on and off these boards, who were just waiting for him to declare. Not all of those were actually active in the draft movement either. This is not all people responding to media hype at all. It's a lot of people who have listened to him for months, read his books and are extremely happy that he's entered the race.
