The latest pic I can find of Laura Bush is GW yelling at her.
It's in the Yahoo Laura Bush slideshow and I spend half an hour trying to post it here but couldn't. He has his hands on her shoulders from behind, right after they have gotten off the helicopter and he looks angry.

I keep thinking about that picture of Bush and Condi at the ballgame and I just can't help but wonder what is really going on.

Well, any opinions?

1. Posting photos
Barbaraann, right-click and scroll to "copy image location." Then paste it to your post (Cntrl + V). Then, if the image is from the slideshow, delete all the numbers and letters that follow the extension ".jpg". Preview and see if it works.

22. No, I think he's just trying to say something
over the helicopter noise. But with that said, I really do believe a lot of their interaction is posed. They can obviously see the cameras in front of them, so they'll do their best to look agreeable.

The thing that gets to me is, look at Bush's hair. It went from salt & pepper to white. Notice behind his ear: that's white. Wow.

Plus, I agree with other posters here that Barbara is undoubtedly drugged most of the time.

43. Yeah, I finally wised up.
My former problems stemmed from my X's alcohol and substance abuse, and assuming the stories of **'s drinking and cocaine use are true, not to mention his insufferable arrogance, I'm sure Laura has endured her share. I would certainly not want to be in her shoes. They never seem to show much affection towards one another.

47. When Laura was younger
she also used to drink and do pot. In her town she was the girl to go to for those items (mainly pot I think). Laura seems like the type to wise up though and grow up while W is still immature about those issues.
I remember watching something with Bush and he was talking about "his faith" and he was telling this story about how he supposivley became a Christian and he was telling how he used to drink and party a lot and Laura told him to sober up or leave and then they had the twins.

Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 06:06 PM by FreedomAngel82
How do they know? Can you share of the symptoms? About a month or so ago I made a post wondering how they got together and if anybody knew anything about her parents etc. Apparently Bush met Laura after he started running for governor of Texas or a Congressman (can't remember which one). Nobody was buying his "Texas" act and then he gets with Laura and all of a sudden people like him. I've always wondered if they were set up just because of how they interact with each other. My parents interact with each other better and they used to fight pretty often.

57. To be honest, I never asked what the symptoms are...
Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 06:35 PM by ailsagirl
I probably should have but I didn't want to pursue it.
It seemed to have a ring of truth to it (i.e., it didn't
sound implausible) so I let it go at that. Chimp has been
referred to as a bully many times. Plus he seems to get
off on torture.

If she had told me that John Conyers' wife appeared to
be abused, I'd have DEFINITELY questioned it!!

The symptoms? It could be her demeanor and her body
language and the way she speaks in public. She certainly
seems more like a frightened deer than the wife of the...
well, Chimp. She does not come off as a confident women,
IMO. Like with animals and children, when you hurt them,
they become head-shy and tense in your presence. (sadly)

He looks like he's trying to finish an argument and not make a scene. My parents used to fight quite often so I've seen the many looks of a fight. Laura has also helped raise money for his Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch - see this:

And President Clinton also is a friend/fan of his... Friedman is definitely an interesting fellow, and frankly I hope he does become Governor of Texas. Now our hard working first lady, the competition to Eleanor Roosevelt, and mentioned as a possible contender to a presidential run against Hillary Clinton, has gone on a "private vacation" as if all the hard work of the nation's hard working "librarian" really, really needs a vacation It is such hard and exhausting work.
