My 1000th Post (Re-posted from Friday night's Malloy)

Has to be a thank you to everyone here at DU.

You have made living in these trying times bearable. From my first days as a reader of the top 10 list and the articles, to my scattered DU'ing of polls and kicking the late Jeff Matson's toon threads, it has been a steady progression from there to coming here to the Malloy thread each night. You've welcomed me with open arms, and a shared hope that we can and do make a difference.

To Lincoln and ralps, special thanks for this place to come to each night, and to the regulars thanks for giggling at my ID and sharing all your passion for this country, and our mutual disgust with the sad state W has us in. Thanks also to the Admins and mods for the great work you do here, and to Bob Boudelang, whoever you are. (shhh DONT TELL ME k lol)

I cannot name you all, poor typing skills (or lack of any at all) prohibit it. All I can say is thanks to all of DU from the bottom of my heart for Being There.
