Psychic Freeper
I once had a dream about 4 snakes. Today this confirms who those four snakes are (the four who wrote in favor of this besides O'Connor). I think part of the symbolism of my dream in October 2004 just before the election is the poison of these snakes -- the poison for our society.
May God please help us! 130 posted on 06/27/2005 7:30:50 AM PDT by topher

Slept through Civics Class Freeper
The Supreme Court has once again affirmed by their action that the Judeo-Christian religion is the ONLY TRUE RELIGION. That is why quoting from the Bible is illegal, because the court has determined that the Bible is a TRUE religion, while other books and artifacts are not a "real religion" so they aren't covered by the 1st amendment. 174 posted on 06/27/2005 7:39:35 AM PDT by CharlesWayneCT

There is no metaphysically "neutral" position regarding God. God either exists, or He does not. Acting like He does not exist is not "neutral." In fact, God does exist, and He did give us the Ten Commandments. This decision is fundamentally anti-reality. 256 posted on 06/27/2005 7:55:26 AM PDT by Aquinasfan
Conservatives aren't extreme ENOUGH Freeper
I would like to hear Mr. Bush SAY something about the SCOTUS ED ruling. I would have liked to see him SAVE Terri Schiavo. The only areas where I have seen Mr. Bush take action is in those areas that "help" foreign countries that I don't give a damn about. I'm sick of it, and I'm sick of pretending that the Repubs are much better than the Dems. I want someone to earn my vote. 259 posted on 06/27/2005 7:55:44 AM PDT by mizmoutarde

It's extremely difficult, but I believe you can indeed impeach SC judges.

6. actually, not all the freepers are freaking out. |
|
Some are actually rational on this issue. One freeper pointed out that only 2 of the 10 commandments are actually illegal today; another pointed out that 3 of them are protected by the Bill of Rights. Still another Freeper had the acid remark that if it were the Koran on display, a lot more Freepers would agree with the rulings.

9. Yeah, but those exceptions prove the rule |
|
The fact is, for every Freeper pointing out that most of the 10 Commandments are against the constitution, there are 15 who are screaming for the heads of the SCOTUS and another five who are calling the reasonable Freeper a liberal.
The Freaks are in disarray over this decision. It's a beautiful thing.

8. Newsflash for the one you labeled "Bloodthirsty but cowardly" |
|
It never has been, nor will it ever be, illegal to display religious things on your own private property.
Now, try seeing how long anything Muslim lasts on a yard in the "red" areas where they preach about "displaying items" on private property.
Near my home, there's a huge "Bush/Cheney" sign sitting on private property facing the interstate. Several times, I've wanted to take a paintball gun to it, but it's on private property. Too bad I'm a liberal and believe in freedom of speech . . .
