Idea: turn empty, abandoned Walmarts into . . . |
|
fundie/evangelical/neocon/defense contractor conversion facilities. Such a facility might well be needed after *'s ass is kicked to the curb. In the conversion facilities, defense fat cats will be able to learn basic job skills so they can get a job in the real world. TV evangelicals and the fundie set will be given diction, make-up and hair extension/toupee maintenance hints so they don't come off as self-righteous bumpkins, and can more easily blend back into society. And all this in a former Walmart, in an environment that will be comforting and nurturing for all of them.

4. Yeah, maybe CUBA would send them some Doctors! |

We could just declare "Wal-Mart" a third-world nation, and watch the internation aid start flowing in... (and plant observers to TAKE NOTES on how "taking care of people" works!)

Maybe the building would be a good lesson to the kids too. Don't repaint the building, put in as few walls as you can, and make sure it looks like the carcass of a *Mart.

3. We'd have to buy them from Wal-Mart first. |
|
At heavily overmarket valuations at that. Why do you think they're abandoned? Wal-Mart prices them too high to sell.
Now here's an argument for eminent domain.

I don't know if executions will be necessary; they do wonders with lobotomies these days. Can people be lobotomized twice, though? I don't know . . . And brainwashing does presuppose the existence of a brain . .

Well, I was just proposing that abandoned Walmarts be used to re-edumicate people peacefully; you know, sort of a public service. Nonetheless, I do see the potential benefits of using these centers for punishment, as well. Sort of a gulag run by dems. That's it, 'Gulmart.' Why you'd hardly have to change anything in terms of logos and lettering. Hmm - - - who but us dems could think of a multi-site Gitmo-type re-training center that has a smiley face for a logo?

And this center, unlike Gitmo has the potential for financial self-sufficiency. why, think of the pay per view potential of Lyndie Englund (with cigarette and whip) vs the Rumster and the Bush-wad.
