Bush to hurl pre-digested sound bites and unintelligible folksy gibberish at those few Americans actually watching in order to continue to fool them.

a war on terror but there is also the war of occupation in Iraq which is someting entirely different both in source and purpose. The press needs to make that distinction more clearly.

3. Blitzer was doing the exact opposite earlier. |
|
In his 'preview' of the Beeg Speech, he tried to make the case that Iraq was part of the GWOT.
Or he announced that Bush would try to make the case, which is essentially the same thing.

the MSM does not distinguish or make distinctions about the things this administration claims. It is sloppy journalism but I also think it is intentional because it would require them to question and investigate these communications from * and others which would result in them being left out of the loop by the White House, which would result in not getting the story, which would result in lower rating, which would result in less income and so it goes.

the loop and even we DUers know more than what the MSM grudgingly gives up. I know a news organization can't just depend on the Internet for scoops, but it's a hell of a nice place to start. Anyway, depending on the WH for truthful news is a pipe dream no matter how you look at it. And sitting on the front row at the WH press conferences can't mean that much.

I saw this start a couple of weeks ago with the bogus reports on all of the abcdefg channels that the foreign fighters are driving the insurgency. That Iraq is now ground zero for islamic terrorist training. IT is HORSE SHIT! But they have totally made the Iraq war into a just cause cuz we are "fighting them there so we don't have to at home". Talk about propping up their little dictator. Goebbels would be so fucking proud! I HATE US CORPORATE MEDIA!!!
