It's always an early morning phone call and it's always one of my favorite cities.
This morning I just kept saying "No, not London, NOT London, not London..."
Yes, London.
God, I'm sorry. My country may not, in the end, display a huge outpouring of support and grief on your behalf the way the world did in 2001 for us, but **I** am feeling it right now. Everyday Londoners were affected in this, and my heart goes out to them. To you.
Stay as safe as you can, DUers in London. God I hate that this has happened there. I know London has experienced terrorist attacks before, but it can't make this any easier.
I'm so sorry. I just wanted to say that. I HATE this, I hate it.

3. Screw that sentiment. Govt is not the People |

Americans, as opposed to America's wayward government, is completely sympathetic to the suffering of the innocent.
I am so sorry that this has happened. All Americans who aren't crazy express their concern, send their love and prayers and pledge to work for a better and more peaceful world. If my govt. doesn't do the same, then screw them.

We don;t really know what happened yet or how bad it was. It was certainly bad. But the city is still standing. We're not going anywhere, you hear that you terrorist nutters? WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE.

And I thought of you and other DUers in London as soon as I heard this. LOL, it was kind of funny (in a dark way, not a ha ha way) to think of someone named "Taxloss" but I did. I kept hoping you and yours weren't on the tube or a bus.

withstood the Blitz, I don't think that this will shake them. I'm not trying to minimize the tragedy, I just have a lot of respect for the British people. God bless 'em and keep 'em.

11. London has been here nearly 2000 years |
|
We've been burnt (more than once), invaded, bombed. We've seen it all, and we can take it.
