So, will "Al Qaeda" be blamed for these attacks? |
|
Although no such organization exists (al qaeda means "The base" in Afghanistan. It was used to describe the base of the muhajideen during the Soviet war), the entire media acts like the muslim world is in one big, bad war against us, and we must always be aware of attack from any direction.
9/11, if we are to believe what we are told about it, was probably planned by a handful of men, who carried out the operation without the help of some massive and monolithic "al-qaeda" which exists in dozens of countries across the world.
But Bush/Blair will no doubt point to this attack, somehow and confusingly using it as justification for further degradation of civil liberties and more war abroad (which no one can deny is simply creating more and more enemies). And it will all go back to "al qaeda," a group that really doesn't exist.
For God's sake, if these bombs aren't being planted by M16/CIA, I really hope the people who continue to give the West more propoganda for war and suppression start realizing this isn't the way to get through to the Western public.

that the London bombings have been determined to be "the unauthorized activities of a few rotten pomegranates" and that no upper echelon leaders were aware of, nor did they order, the attacks. Just a theory.

6. there were many, many DUers |

who predicted another terrorist act. Especially with so many people in this country losing confidence with shrubco's handling of U.S.'s invasion of Iraq, and our involvement there.
What a horrible thing to have happened, whether it was committed by terrorists or shrubco (both kind of the same thing). But if it was planned by shrubco (or not), will it divert attention from Plamegate and shrubco's low approval ratings, and even unite the country once more behind shrubco's "war on terror," or will it be evidence of the incompetence of out leadership - and how our foreign policies are not working, and the world after invading Iraq is indeed not a safer place?

individual. Was there any coodination proved in Madrid. I doubt this is a coodinated organization.
No "Al Qaeda" is a phantom. "Al Qaeda" is simply disgruntled Islamic Extremists who can strike at will and there is absolutely NOTHING we can do except maybe start to behave ourselves and hope for the same in others.
Have they even caught anybody? I am depressed. Bush is an idiot. We have AN IDIOT running our country and making everything worse all the time, everywhere.
