Freepers Actively Jumping Ship.

"To: Vindiciae Contra TyrannoSCOTUS

Bush will be a one termer.

He is a RINO.

I will vote Democrat before I vote for Bush again.

All I have to show for my BUSH vote is a much much larger government, ZERO conservative judicial appointments, trashed economy.

We must send a strong message in hopes of getting a strong Republican party back.

His loss will in the long term be a conservative gain.

Chimpy is f*cked. Even his core supporters are through with him.

4. can't blame them really
No one likes being lied to. To have believed so strongly in someone of such a high political office as President of the United States and then misled and lied to is beyond reproach.

So, they said screw you *. Don't blame them one bit!

7. sounds like us whining about the DLC
Hehe. We think, rightly so, that the DLC has betrayed us. They sound like a perverse mirrored reflection of that.

11. But the extreme right has gotten 99% of what it wanted?
When will they be happy? Dole ran in 96 and got his ass handed to him on a plate. What is their definition of a perfect conservative canidate?

Actually, only the extreme right-wing corporate fat-cats got
what they wanted. Bush has been lying to his base, trying to convince them that he is conservative. Neo-cons aren't conservative, that's why they are called neo-conservatives instead of conservatives. He's no conservative and he is exactly the opposite of a liberal. He's a big-buisness corporatist first and foremost.

8. They will abandon him in droves if polls show he is in trouble
They just want to be on the winning side. They want to be known as winners no matter what the cause. If it looks like Bush* will lose they will jump ship by the hordes. They have no moral compass. Only their misguided idea of what a winner is.

9. I'm happy to see these rats deserting what they see as a sinking ship, but
Dubya has other 'core' supporters. Will big-name RW religios desert him? Some apparently are, but the biggest names have yet to speak. Will the corporations desert him? Maybe, but we've yet to see. Yeah, it may be at a tipping point, but let's get beyond that and see how far it's tipped before we rejoice too much.

12. We really need Buchanan to run !
His anti neocon isolationist ideas would appeal to the dissafected Bushies, but his anti minority and anti immigrant ideas would guarantee no liberal support.

DRAFT BUCHANAN NOW !

14. After Buchanan's Culture War speech at the 1992 convention
I doubt the Republicans want him.

That speech was so over the top that I'm sure many moderates who may have voted for Bush went over to Perot or Clinton that year due to the tone of that moment.
