7. Drip, Drip, Drip

<Andrew Wilkie resigned from ONA in protest against the way intelligence was used to justify Australia's support for war on Iraq. Mr. Wilkie's responsibilities in ONA included analysis of weapons of mass destruction and global terrorism.>

But, but, but ..... Ari said to move along .... nothing to see here ... His Highness said the matter is closed ??

13. Not sure this is shot a hot idea, frankly
It's critical that the Replicants NOT be able to package this for the public as a strictly partisan bunch of carping about a trivial matter, backed by "disgruntled" and disloyal leakers in the CIA. I'm actually surprised that McGovern/VIPS are doing this. I would think they would be much smarter to keep their distance from Dem political candidates in order to preserve their integrity and impartiality. This may be good for a short-term publicity hit, but it will have a corrosive effect in terms of preserving their impact as Intel officers with real concerns who are looking out for the interests of the country. Seems like a very bad move, frankly.

14. They've been speaking out loudly forever, with that
Sanity in Intelligence or Intelligence Officers for a Sane World, or whatever that site is and they even put ads in major newspapers, and NOBODY LISTENED. The major media just squelched this as nuts, or unhappy people.

They are right to ramp this up, and since Kucinich has been saying this all along, they're right to go with someone who shares their views.

15. You may be right...
...however the alternative is to allow the subject to be buried in a House/Senate sub-committee where the usual 3-D (deflect/deny/delay)tactics will be employed by the majority party.....Kucinich is defining the presidential debates for the good of the country and will only benefit from this move.....I tend to believe that reasonable minded individuals will see this as a logical (campaign?)and needed (country?) move towards sunshining the events surrounding the handling of the "hype" employed by the administration....The two-fold benefit is that not only does it reveal the administrations intent, it also reveals the medias complicity.....I see it as a two- for-oner...
