"Larry the Cable Guy" (blue collar cmdy): Political beliefs (!!)
Wow. I had no idea he was such a liberal !

"
............................
I don't believe in solving problems by throwin money at them. I think political correct people are not solving problems but part of the problem and creating more! I believe I just pooped my pants! I believe in less government and more state control! I believe people should take personal responsibility. I believe all the telletubbies is queer, not just the purple one! I believe in the right to bear arms! Not only against scumbag criminals, but also against a tyrannical government! I believe my speling sucks! I believe Mary-Ann was a better piece of ass than Ginger! I believe that we are gradually losing personal freedoms and that if this trend continues, we will be living in a world of corporate socialism! I believe in a strong military, the Dukes Of Hazzards, and that chicken fried steak and gravy taste better than a cheerleader on game day! (I apologize) I believe the media stirs the fires of racism for ratings, and that they have sold there soul and this country out for their own gain! I believe Jesse Jackson, janet reno, Ted Turner, and the New Hollywood squares are all spawned from the devil himself! (Notice Janet Reno doesn't even deserve capital letters) I believe in free speech, especially 900 numbers!

My fellow Americans, remember, the more we become dependent on government as mommy and daddy, the more government has you under their authority just like mommy and daddy! I believe in America, and I believe in the people that live in it, and I believe if you don't like my site, than you're a commie and you need to get your fat ass off it!!

1. We aren't dependent on gov't
We pay government to do things for us. Provide health care for the elderly, fix roads, watchdog business, feed poor people.

They've been playing with words for too long. Government works for us.

2. Unfortunately, Liberals and Conservatives both accuse one another...
of doing all those things to them.

They see "gay rights" as being "persecuting Christians," for example.

4. He's Bad (in the Not-Good Sense)
I've checked it out when the 4 of them are on, and the other 3 cover themselves well regarding the sterotypical Wingnutism. I don't remember the specifics, but this Cable Guy guy was fairly out there with freeperish stuff. It's a surprise to see in the link that he says he's NOT.

5. if he believes in a strong military he'd better be a veteran, the fat slob
i deal with these buck toothed yahoos every day. stupid as dirt and useless for anything except hanging a hat on their big foreheads. his kind is a single step up from the pellagra generation that dotted the south a few generatons ago.

what he has is because of "socialism," whether its the roads he drives on, the electrification of the south under roosevelt, decent schools and clear air and water.

these assholes are like fish who don't even realize they live in water. they dont have the brains to figure out all the things this society has built that allows him to be a big bad blue collar idiot was done by other folk.

7. Yeah; that's the point! Check this out:
At the VERY END of the Blue collar show (DVD) he does an imitation that is supposed to be funny but in my view shows that he is extremely intelligent and just taking all the "rednecks" who think he is "one of them" for a ride, as cynical as that may sound. Man is a genius to capitalize on this; his real self is very very hidden. I wouldn't be suprised if he is a pink-shirt wearin' liberal (WITH the sleeves on).

8. Haven't you heard that crap before ... It's the Redneck Creed ...
Lifted straight from Newt Gingrich talking points. Good God, he thinks the corporate media is SOCIALIST!! The "mommy and daddy government" he's talking about are social security, and relief for the poor.

9. I really don't give a flying F*** what Larry the F***ing Cable Guy thinks
I believe Larry isn't particularly funny. Foxworthy has his monents, Ron White is brilliant. I could care less where any of them stand politically.

13. They did a piece on Larry in Rolling Stone a while back
"Larry The Cable Guy" is just one of the characters he created for a radio show, and it hit a chord with Freeper-Americans so he banked on it. They mentioned the irony of how Mr. "Git-R-Done" with all his aw-shucks folksiness has a like a paragraph of thank yous to corporate types in the liner notes of his latest album.
