more offshoring warnings

Looks like we're going to feel the pinch of losing our technolgical edge, in addition to the manufacturing edge we once enjoyed. Oh, well, at least we're paying $20 less for a DVD player.

Thank you georgie, for giving tax breaks to companies that offshore jobs. Particulararily to those of us in the technological sector. We really appreciate that...

1. Lovely. I can't wait for my kids to get jobs as burger flippers or stock
boys at Mall*Wart.

4. Warnings no longer needed, we are in the middle of the storm
The question now is how long it will last. Although it probably won't end in my lifetime. The storm won't end until overseas employees recieve similar wages.

The Chinese working class is laboring in factories for between 24 and 35 cents an hour. It took the US 60 years to go from that wage to the current wage. Because of the price of consumer goods I suspect China and India will travel that faster.

We need to help organize labor and political forces to raise salaries and community standards in those places to help that process along.
