I would like to speak, for a moment, to those who blame others than Rove and to those who would defend Rove.

I have put up with your idiotic thoughts for quite some time. I have seen you vote for * and then not learn your lesson and vote yet again. Do you not see his administration for what they are? Do you not hear their lies? Did King George not tell you he would demand the Saudis open their oil spickets? Did he not lie us into a war? Check the facts and see that he made heavy strikes on Iraq before Congress ever even had a chance to vote to go to war. He made secret strikes just to try and provoke Saddam into a war.

When we had representatives (Conyers and Boxer among them) ask for answers about the DSM, they ignored us. If your 'fearless' leader had nothing to hide wouldn't you want him to come forward and clear the air? Innocent people insist on being heard and on speaking.

One of the biggest reason, I hear, you voted for this 'man' was that he made you feel safer. He made a promise to strike against terrorist and the terror it brings. Well let me make this as clear as I can for you. What Karl did, whether it was intentional or not, was not just done to one family. Yes, Mr. Wilson and his wife were jeopardized by this leak but like an iceberg, you must look deeper to see the full effects of how far this goes.

Valerie worked deeply undercover. Her job was tracking WMD's - you know, those things Saddam was said to have had. This was a top secret operation. The CIA does operations like this to try to keep America safer. These operations take the bad guys off the market and make the world a safer place. We are the heroes in these operations.

Outing Valerie meant putting her and her family in danger. It meant putting anyone connected with the deep cover firm in jeopardy. It put her casual acquaintances in danger. Worst of all, it put us in danger since outed operations must be stopped and this one was at the top of security measures.

Homeland security? Anything they could do over five or even ten years for this country could never measure up to the safety Valerie Plame and her colleagues were doing. The vital operations that Valerie and her co-workers were doing let us sleep safely at night whether we knew it or not.

This is where you come in. This is your country and if you truly want to be safe then you must stand up for what is right. We do not need people who would commit treason in our government and nor do we need people providing shelter for them.

I know you have had your head stuck in the sand. Perhaps your ego can not let you admit you were wrong about your choice. Perhaps you did not want to believe the worst about your party. I do not demand you say you are sorry or that you are wrong. No, this message is a plea to you. A plea to stand up for our country, for our safety.

Your leader promised you he would fight the war on terror and that either you are with him or against him. All I am asking is you hold him at his word. Do not forget he also said that he would get rid of anyone in his administration who may have outed Plame. Hold your leader accountable. Make him keep his word and protect our country.

The fact is, we can not have a man in the upper levels of government who has access to information where he may accidentally, or on purpose, put our security in danger. He is even more dangerous if he did it by accident. Having that kind of power and not being careful with it is no excuse for jeopardizing all of us. It says that Karl is even more inept if he did this be accident. I will not even say what the implications are if he did it on purpose.

Please think about this because the safety of all of us is on the line. This is something we can not afford to split along party lines, it is so much more important than that. If you really pulled that lever wanting * to keep you safe then you must follow through with that vote and demand that your safety continues. If you do not do it for yourself, do it for your friends and family please, I implore you.
