'Making abortion illegal leads to back alley butchers' |
|
This from my rw mother today. She loathes abortion, but still sees the value in keeping it legal. Her and I are both concerned about who bush will nominate because of the direct impact it will have on women.

Pretty compelling argument there that Roe v Wade in 1973 led to reduced crime across the board in the 90s; when a lot of otherwise unwanted, unsupported children would have been turning to crime.

I've used that though to people and it makes no difference to them. "People will have abortions" blah blah blah.

3. Right, every sperm is sacred, but when they turn into |

unfed, uncared for abused children, it's the liberals who are enabling their dependence. GAWD.
As Bush famously said while governor, I paraphrase: "I haven't seen any hungry children."

4. All who want to make abortion illegal know where it leads, but they just |
|
don't care. The well-to-do know they won't have to resort to the back alley butchers for they will get their own families' little problems fixed by a professional.
