People Act Like This Is Rove's First Bobble
Let's not act like this is his first bad deed. If the investigation finds that Kooky Karl did leak Mrs. Plame's name, then yes he should be fired in a moments notice. But keep in mind, this is the architecht of the Bush White House. He is the CEO in screwing America, so he has a lot of power in an already corrupt and disgraceful administration.

This is a bad, bad man. For example, in the 2000 GOP Primaries in South Carolina, he secretly put out a rumor that John McCain had a "black baby." The truth is that Senator McCain and his wife had adopted an orphan from Bangladesh. Another attack on McCain by Rove in South Carolina was that he was the "fag candidate" after McCain had addressed the gay club of the GOP, the Log Cabin Republicans. My point is that you can't put anything past this waste of human life named Karl Rove.

1. Does anyone else think Rove looks like the Brainbug
from the movie Starship Troopers?

Wellstone Memorial Service after Rick Kahn made a passionate, albeit political, speech about his deceased friend.

That had Rove's fingerprints all over it.

3. Hell, poppy Bush fired him from his campaign in '92.
I don't remember the reason, but I'm sure somebody else here can chime in with details. Yeah, Rove's in no way perfect. He is, however, unscrupulous, vindictive and unbelievably mean-spirited, and that's gotten him by up until now.

I do believe that men like him are destined to be hoisted by their own petards; I don't think he'll be an exception.

5. Oh the irony
I read just in the last day or so (either DU or Buzzflash) that Rove was fired from Bush I in 1992, because he leaked information damaging to an opponent. The information was leaked to Robert Novak.

4. He likes to plant things, like the debate CD back in 2000.
He most likely planted the "secret debate prep CD" that was sent to Gore's campaign, remember that? And then during the 2002 midterms, there was the mysterious republican strategy CD found by a democrat? He has done that in texas, too. Its a weird thing, but it always happens when he is around, the other guy gets set up for a "spying" accusation.
