Most Ridiculous GOP Talking Point Re; Plame
Saw a freeper post saying: the law says that the definition of a covert operative only applies to those working outside the US?

Huh? We don't have any covert operatives working HERE?? Or if we do, it's OK to out them? Then they quote like one line of some law (no doubt selective/cherry picking anything that gets Rove off the hook and ignoring the rest.)

Anybody else heard that one? They are getting more and more bizarro in their logic, if that's even possible...

The other thing I fail to comprehend is what difference it makes that Cheney didn't send him -- he never SAID Cheney sent him! I just think by the sheer stupidity of their talking points, they must be pretty desperate.

7. I think not; they are done with the intent of confusing the public
and getting enough doubt in there of the real facts as Joe Wilson has told those facts.

3. It's a perfectly GOP line of thought.
They finely hone anything to see if it's "legal", they don't care if it's right. As long as they "win".

4. Against the law (or it used to be) for CIA to operate domestically
Don't know how Patriot Act has changed that.

9. This is the weakest set of talking points I have seen yet.
Most of them make no sense, or contradict other talking points. If this is the best they can do, the R's are in DEEP DOO-DOO.

13. By definition, the CIA works outside the US,
and the FBI works inside the US. Therefore, if she was a covert operative for the CIA, her work was outside the US unless she had some desk time to do at Langley.
