Year 2007: My starter list of prominent Republicans who will be in prison?

My starter list is as follows ..

Tom Delay
Jack Abramoff
Karl Rove (sentenced but gets pardoned after short stint in prison)
Scooter Libby (same as karl)
Rush Limbaugh
Bob Taft, Ohio gov
Ken Blackwell, SOS of Ohio
Duke Cunningham, R- congressman

Any suggestions for adding to the list?

12. U.S. Senator from Montana......
One of his jobs in the Senate is to oversee the budget for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. One of the things he's being questioned about is why he pushed for and gave a grant to one of the wealthiest Indian tribes in the country. He has so much going on that he's being investigated for though. He's crooked. These articles explain it better.

14. Wow, a senator!

Since you said Delay I was really thinking congresscritter. Jesus, a senator.

And he is on the Bureau of Indian Affairs? With ties to Delay.. go figure!

Will check out the two links you gave.

Thanks for the heads up, and any other info you have would be much appreciated.

Best!

17. Didnt Montana just get a new Dem gov?

Or is that Wyoming? Sorry to get it mixed up, had heard the Dems were making surprising inroads in Western states.

Do you think the Republican senator will be in prison before the primary election?

Really a great guy.

No, I bet he weasels his way out of it, he'll figure something out I'm sure. Hopefully, he'll just get beat in his race anyway.

19. Yeah, Brian Schweitzer

Heard a lot of good things about that guy.

Smart from everything I've read.

Worked on some of my hunting buddies for years and finally converted one or two of them, he had a lot of the same points so always remembered the news articles.

And he has balls, a Dem will always win with balls because all thats left after that are the issues.

The rich companies cut down the forest in hunting grounds, free of charge.

Plus, hunters dont want poison in their water and food.

13. None of the above.
Sorry to tinkle on your parade but the chances of a Democratic congress as long as the GOP owns the voting machines is zero. Oh yeah, they also control the media and the courts.

You'll be ice skating in Galveston bay before that happens.
