Nothing wrong with the angle there. He's coming out of the level I assume the luggage is usually kept in a 747. In fact if you look carefully you can see that lower door in the image.

What airport is he at that they couldn't wheel out the stairs seen in the image above?

Or are the making a quick pit stop at the side of the road so he can take a leak?

That's nothing, though! You should see when he's had a few of those little shot-sized plastic bottles of booze they give out on airplanes--they have to open the emergency exit and push him down the slide.
