NEW YORK, NY, July 19, 2005 — Vice President Dick Cheney will be coming to New Jersey on Friday to raise money for Republican gubernatorial hopeful Doug Forrester.

The visit by Cheney is being anticipated by both sides. Forrester is looking forward to the money and the press Cheney will help generate, while Democratic Jon Corzine's campaign will use the visit to tie Forrester to the Bush White House, which polls show is increasingly unpopular in New Jersey.
