Dare I call it treason?
Yes.

It's treason to reveal the identity of a secret operative dedicated to hunting down WMDs. It's treason to attempt to attempt to obfuscate the truth of the matter behind partisan politics.

It is treason to continually lie to the American public, to manufacture or use someone else's manufactured evidence in order to wage war against an already crippled nation.

It is treason to attempt to subvert the rule of law and the Constitution of the United States.

It is treason to put the welfare of a select few oligarchs before the welfare of the citizens of the United States

It is treason to deprive ordinary citizens of their voting rights in order to secure a certain election result.

It is treason to put the welfare of a specific political party before the welfare of the United States as a nation.

It is treason to work on behalf of a corrupt government in order to help it subvert the Constitution of the United States, to abandon journalistic ethics in order to further the campaign of disinformation that is the lifeblood of this current administration.

In my view the whole of the Republican Party, and its supporters, are guilty of treason, of the deliberate destruction of the Bill of Rights and other Contitutional protections.

I speak now of the Patriot Act, the "Real ID" act, and the actions of the FBI when, under the direction of this administration, spends taxpayer monies to monitor the activities of a group as generally innocuous as the ACLU. This administration has deliberately violated the Oath of Office taken by the President and Vice President to uphold the Constitution and, in so doing, has rendered all policy decisions and bills signed into law nothing more than fruit from a poisonous tree.

And, thus, null and void.

8. Republicans get upset when we mention the Nazi's
Republican's always get so mad when we reference the Nazi's but then they call us un-patriotic for not agreeing with Bush. But it is just THAT kind of reaction that makes me THINK about the Nazi's.

You couldn't talk ill of Hitler, lest you pay the price. Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda, once said that if you repeat the same lie over enough, it becomes the truth.

Hitler told the German people, when they were at their zenith of fear toward the Communists, that citizens should "temporarily" give up some of their civil rights, to help secure Germany from the Soviets. Then, he made sure that those civil rights losses were made permanent.

Benjamin Franklin once said that anyone who is willing to give up freedom for security deserves neither!

Hitler, wanting an excuse to invade Poland, put the bodies of dead Jews in German uniforms at a German radio station just inside the border with Poland, and claimed that Germany had been attacked by the Poles. German citizens, believing what they were told, were seething for retribution, and DEMANDED that Hitler invade Poland. This was otherwise known as the beginning of World War II.

It goes on and on and on!

Some say that even with the obvious comparisons, like these, that there is no WAY that Bush wants to be dictator, and I actually agree with that.

BUT, the "election" of 2000 was nothing more than a coup d' tat, with the attack being carried out in FLORIDA, with the REPUBLICAN PARTY wanting to take over the entire United States Government.

If they don't want to be compared to Nazi Germany, then they need to stop ACTING like Nazi Germany!!!

15. I'd say
the RINOs probably aren't traitors...

...but they're the only ones I'd give a pass to. Ron Paul of Texas, for example. Any Republican with more a Libertarian bent. Probably not traitors.

The rest of them--from the administration to the RW radio celebs, "authors," and radio personalities. Traitors...every last one of them.

Bill Frist? Traitor.

Duke Cunningham? Traitor. Corrupt traitor, even, though that's a little redundant.

Rush Limbaugh? Big, fat, obnoxious, drug-addicted traitor.

Ann Coulter? Crazy, anorexic, hag-in-training traitor.

Bill O'Reilly? Loudmouth, lying, ignorant traitor.

Sean Hannity? Snotty, truth-parsing, babbling traitor.

Ted Nugent? Insane, molesting, gun-toting traitor.

for PNAC and Halliburton, and committing genocide against the "brown people." Those who support him will rue the day when the shit hits the fan.

35. OK
"don't pervert the legal definition of treason for partisan use." - OK, and don't you start constructing straw man arguments.

"Don't become as bad as the extemist right wing." - OK, I won't murder thousands of people for my deity and petroleum, commit treason, rob the national treasury, destroy relations with our only allies, burn the U.S. Constitution, and LIE LIE LIE!

Are we safer with the guy who vacationed up to 9/11 while disregarding the terror warnings, lied about the causus belli with Iraq, and allows his staff to out CIA NOC's? Not in my book.
