Poll question: Will Bush piss off every female in his family by putting Roe V Wade in |
|
jeopardy?
I recently learned that his wife and mother are both pro-choice, as is Condi Rice. Is he going to risk alienating his female family members and friends to push a right wing justice through?

1. One problem with your suggestion... |
|
Would they really be pissed off? Yes, Bush might value his base more than his own family, but do his wife and mother (and especially Condi) value their principles more than they do Bush? The answer, of course, is no.

It's really logical. The chimp is proof that a woman should always have a choice. Think of how much better off we would all be if the chimp was never been born.

3. They won't care... they can afford to go to Europe, or send their |
|
relatives or friends there. It's much more important to please the fundamentalists.

13. That certainly would be a helpful thing to expose if it's true. |
|
Not that it would be possible... given what else that family has hidden.

5. Wife and mother are pro-choice for themselves and family, |
|
but does that translate into the rest of us having the same choice? I doubt it.

A case would have to reach the SCOTUS that would challenge Roe v. Wade, and have the merit to overturn it, and convince the court to reverse itself -- something they are VERY reticent to do, since they are Supreme and all. They'd hate to suggest they might have been wrong about something.
It's a first step, but it may be a while even if Roberts gets in.

The Bush's and everyone they associate with live in hugely different class than most American women. The Bush women will always have choices that arent available to everyone else.

14. The criminal elite has always had access to safe abortions. |
|
The criminal elite has always had gay marriage.
So who's pissed? Condi Rice could have had an abortion and be married to a woman, but you'd never know.

.... are past childbearing age, thank god.
his daughters are waiting until they are married. yeah, really!
and if Roe gets overturned, all the Bush females will conveniently forget that they were ever pro-choice. Down the memory hole!

Pro-Life Feminist? No such creature. What feminist wants the old white guys that make up MOST of the government to have control of women's bodies. It is like having an organization called "Slaveholders For Abolition". Makes no fucking sense!
Damn she pisses me off!

they are connected to one of the most powerful men in the world... whatever it takes to keep that is what they'll say and do. If they ever needed to take care of an unwanted pregnancy they've got the money to go wherever they had to take care of it.
Don't expect the enabler women in Booshie's life to speak up for the rest of us. They could give a rat's ass.
