Anyone notice that conservative sites are falling silent about Rove?
An ominous silence is growing at conservative sites that have been, until recently, furiously carrying water for Rove.

The more information is revealed about the Plame case, the less willing right wingers seem to talk about it.

1. No offense, I spend zero time at "conservative" sites.
I get all the propaganda I need from my daily newspaper.

4. Yeah, ditto.
You could ask, "Notice that all the conservative sites have disappeared?" and it would be news to me (except maybe a I might hear a co-worker in the next office muttering about not being able to access Smudge or something).

2. They were ordered to bury the story and like the good little bots they are
they are dropping it. They are closing their eyes and holding their breath and hoping it will all go away.

8. conservatives
I don't hang out with conservatives either but I am in a group that has conservatives on it.

Yesterday I asked a question about the Rove situation. What I asked was.........why would the administration choose to speak on an 'ongoing criminal investigation' in '03 and '04 but now (when their boy is in trouble) why is it suddenly unethical for them to speak about an 'ongoing criminal investigation'?

I only got one response to the question and that response said something about convicting someone without having been judged by a trial or jury. I still observed they didn't answer the question!!!

They must be copying their leader of hypocrisy..........Bush!!

10. it's because they were dying for the story to go away
They hate being on the defensive, it's hard work to constantly lie yourself into complete denial.
