Impact of Bush's $87 Billion On Your State
I didn't see this posted yet. The National Priorities Project has a state by state description of the impact of Bush's $87 billion request for additional funds for Iraq:

http://www.nationalpriorities.org/issues/military/iraq/factsheet03/index.html

"The Impact on Your State offers a state-by-state breakdown of how President Bush's requested $87 billion in additional war spending could be spent instead to create more jobs and meet community needs at the same time. This Factsheet also provides a graphic illustration of current federal spending priorities, comparing the total amount of war-related spending with spending on basic needs such as food and nutrition, the environment, housing, education, the environment and veterans' benefits."

This is a MUST VISIT site! The bar-graph below the state budget effects is absolutely priceless. It fully illustrates the moral bankruptcy of Imperial Amerika.
