You know, the whole country in the military, everyone being brainwashed into this whole fucking attitude of bravdo and machismo. But, a' course, a women folk gotta stay home for good, they's gotta cooks us some dinner and take care a' all'em babies we got. :sarcasm:
Next thing you know, they're going to be handing out polearms and chainmail jerkins and declaring the we have been conscripted in the name of the King or whatever.

the war they so dearly wanted! Ditto for pro-war politicans around the country. Imagine for a moment if the politicans were asked why they haven't resigned and gone off to personally support the troops by being one

3. why don't we go up to 55 |
|
like the South about september 1864? This is ridiculous. We've got to decide what we want to do. The time for half measures is quickly coming to an end. We either have to start the draft, train the hell out of some Iraqi soldiers, or cut bait and leave the Iraqis to kill each other. Those are the choices I see at this point. Gleaning the few dozen recruits that this policy would get is NOT a solution. But don't believe me now. Believe me when this has no impact on our recruiting goals.

7. Well, the war movies have stars who are 35 to 42. |
|
Why not make "reality" more realistic?
This reminds me of the end of WWII when the NAZI's recruited children and old men to defend the Fatherland.
That last ditch effort did not stop the Motherland from slapping the shit out of them.
