Need some help with Bush firings/punishment of dissenters. |
|
The first that comes to mind is Gen. Shinseki who had his successor leaked a year before he retired, making him a lame duck.
Who was it said the war would cost $hundreds of billions?
The guy who knew how much the drug plan would cost?
Any others?
Got a friend who says the active CIA agents aren't complaining about Plame so it must not be a big deal.

3. Active CIA agents don't have to complain publicly. |
|
They're much better at dealing with things secretly.
If I were in this admin, I would be constantly looking over my shoulder. The CIA doesn't take outing and interference lightly. Someone will pay the price sor sure, and it's not going to be the CIA!

4. Tell your friend that the CIA agents can't |
|
complain. Anything they say has to be vetted first. Even Valerie Plame/Wilson can't defend herself for the same reasons. That's why retired CIA agents are coming out to tell the ramifications of the leak.
