1. Not to be a downer....

but I saw Charlie Rose's interview with Michael Moore in the run up to the Iraq War. He seemed very against what Moore was saying, and almost seemed like he supported the war. Has anyone else noticed that (it was on the Bowling for Columbine DVD I believe)?

Anyway, yes, they are great independent voices.

Chiefly because so many people, like you, unfortunately, labor under the delusion that he's some sort of progressive

he has right wing hacks of the worst sort on ALL the time

it's very hard to be right-wing without crossing into fascist territory.
