|

you KNOW they'll give a new meaning to Saturday Night Massacre, as the BFEE are real pros, not wussy quitters like the Nixonites

4. I'm a little more worried that he might develop a 'brain tumor' |
|
Edited on Wed Jul-27-05 01:20 AM by Dr_eldritch
Just like William Casey did before he could testify RE: Iran-Contra.
Unless I'm mistaken, Casey went in for a routine checkup, was diagnosed that day with a brain tumor, and was rushed to have it 'removed' just a few days before he could testify.
Interestingly enough, the 'procedure' left him without speech or communication skills. He died a while later.
I Will have to check this rumor out, but it wouldn't suprise me if we saw another episode with the same plot.

2. Nah, they can't whack him. |
|
Too obvious, too many mechanisms in place to keep the truth coming out. Don't worry about him, he's safe.

3. hah....like I said, they're PROs...and they're capable of anything |
|
wouldn't you like to know the real truth behind so many different things?
you know the story of Letelier?
you know who was the head of the CIA when that happened?
don't kid yourself; as outlandish as it seems, they ARE capable of anything.
how about Florida?
do I need to go any farther past that, like nine months?

5. They won't whack fitzgerald! |

there would be too much political fallout, too much demand for them to find out the truth. This is my person intuition on the matter, for what its worth. I do hear what you're saying.

6. my intuition agrees with yours....BUT, put it this way..... |

would you be surprised if some horrid auto/bath accident happened, or some strange aneurism suddenly blow out his vena cava?
I know it's unlikely, but, again, nothing they do ever surprises me

8. It would be something more subtle... |

Like some other guy "confesses" then all the sudden dies, making the case closed. That's my best guess!

Too many people are watching this case. If something was to happen to him people would all be talking and wondering about it. Plus, they can't fire him either since he is a republican politically and was hired by a republican in the Bush administration so it would show they were truly guilty which is why they have all the spin going on and Roberts wanting his own "investigation".

7. I'm sure he's prepared |

Remember this guy has dealt with the mafia and he had to stop getting mail at his home from his office because of bomb threats. He can handle anything I think. Especially the Bush crime family. He handled the GOP in Illinois. I think he's doing all the right steps. He's not leaking ANYTHING or talking to the press or nothing. So they don't know what he is planning which is good for him. I hope if he has a family they're safe too.

He's one of these prosecutors, from what I've read, that is blood thirsty when dealing with evil. They don't like partisan politics get in the way. If he can bring down the GOP leadership in Illinois then he can Bush if there is crimes there (and I believe it goes to the top).
