Hold a People's Convention to Decide Dem Party Direction...
Edited on Wed Jul-27-05 11:05 AM by Tommymac
where all registered Dems can come and voice their opinions...and vote on the direction they want their party to take. DLC ...left wing...centrists...all can explain their positions on issues.

No delegates, no invitation only...all's you have to be is a registered Democrat in your state and have your yearly dues to the DNC or State or Local Party Organization paid up to attend, speak/listen and vote. No proxies, each vote counts the same as any other...whether you are Al From, Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, or Jane Sixpack.

Doesn't have to be one convention ...they can hold them in several major cities...and small towns. Hell, even hold it online for those who can't attend...

Let We The People decide which philosophy and direction is best for THEIR party...

3. Whatever works...
We need a way to come 'face to face' with each other...iron out or differences, feel that we are not just minions but that the common member does count.
