Would you stand up if bush were to walk in the room? |
|
What kind of respect would you show him, if any?
To answer my own questions, I would even though I would be gagging at every turn. The respect I show would be for the office and not the man.

I give him points for that, I think that instead of worrying about being nice, (when Bush has shown no niceness at all), people are being arrested, held and tortured with no due process, we went to war with no justification, etc. what should be done is that our elected leaders should take control, I don't care if they're in the minority, if Karl Rove, 1 man, not a congress, not a majority, could create the havoc that he did from a few phone calls to reporters, why hasn't there been more done to expose what has passed for government for the last 5 years, why is it always the little people who are bucking the system, why is not our leaders, is that what we expect them to do, lead our country.

I remember that everybody stood up for Bush but him, Kerry looked cool as a cucumber too. I sure hope that evidence comes out to prove how rigged 04 was, name 1 single thing that has been done by the administration that is 100% honest and above board with no partisan ties, just 1 thing.

He's an asshole sociopath squatter corporaste lapdog from a criminal family ruining our country for his buddies and mo'money. As long as the pig is in there and the pigs have hijacked our government the offices are basically not there so I do not respect the people posing as "great men" Just because they wear the costume of heros does not mean they are. Along with my ass and flipping the bird and eyeing up those rotton tomatoes he'd hear me yellin' "Hey Chimp,You suck your whole adminitration is pathetic,Bullies,You are a pretenderdestined to fall from your own ignorance greed and sickness you..LooooooSer! and this would be said like Jim Carrey does when his butt sings in his movies.Ended with a HUGE fart.

|
If he is walking in as POTUS - Yes. I would be showing respect for the office that will one day again be held by a Democrat. We do NOT help future Democratic presidents if we tear down the office itself.
If he is walking in as himself, - maybe. Depends on the social setting. Absent an social reason for doing so, doubtful.

That man (and I use the term loosely) has shown no respect for my country or the office for which he inhabits. He is a coward who will not even allow people who disagree with him to attend his rallies. I will not show respect for such an excuse for a human being. He takes up my oxygen and that is bad enough for me.
