TBTM Video of Inspirational Lyla Lipscomb Speech at Conyers Town Hall

Thanks to the generosity of many here at the DU (my hats off to you all!) I was able to attend and film the Conyers Town Hall Meeting in Detroit on July 23rd when thousands of people met at over 300 House Parties across the country to keep the Downing Street Minutes at the top of the Media and in the minds of our countrymen and Govt officials.

During that Town Hall Lyla Lipscomb (who was the Mom who lost her son in Michael Moore's Farenheit 911 film) gave an incredibly inspirational speech, and you can watch it here:

There's also a Preview there of my latest film in the making called "Rove's War" - which was shown at the start of the Conyers Town Hall in Detroit and nearly 300 copies were requested from his office and AfterDowningStreet.org to be shown at these events - you can watch the Preview there as well.

I was also lucky enough, as some of you remember, go to Washington DC and film the Downing Street Minutes June 16th Hearing in the Capitol - we still have copies available at the site of those as well.

I think that Lyla's speech is a must see, she's one tough lady and commands everyone to get off their asses, they loved her and I did too - I think you will as well..

We'll be leaking out portions of the Conyers Town Hall in between my work on the "Rove's War" DVD, I'm a busy guy and it's a HUGE subject as simple as the truth is - that the entire Bush administration, at least those close to him were involved in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the american people and use our treasury as an ATM, and that's just a start :)

It was an honor to go there and film this.. even got a big old hug from Conyer's himself, should load that clip up and show it to people, definately a Kodak moment for me..

Wish I could have shared that hug with all who helped me :)

Make sure to WATCH this clip, she tells people to GET OFF THEIR BUTTS, she's a very motivational speaker - much more depth than when she was in Moore's movie, and was just another grieving mom created by the Bush admin..

Man, she just did it again. When I watched F911, nothing torched me more than her section. In watching this clip, I was moved beyond measure. ANY woman who can consistently reach right into my heart strings and give them a good yanking can surely reach the Sleeping Majority of American Families.

she really IS the real deal.. that son was lucky to have a mom like that, their lives were richer than many in some ways..

I was really touched by the massive sincerity, something you don't see much of nowadays, between the media and uncaring politicians (Conyers is the end a long line of Statesmen IMHO), refreshing and endearing..

True americans, her family has been giving up their men for generations for this country, as a Veteran I can appreciate that.

I haven't had time to look at all your goodies, but I know they will be great. I saw Lyla's name and had to tell that my sister in law went to a WAMM meeting here in Mpls and Lyla was speaking. She said she is a great person and they had a little talk after.

Lyla told her that the military would not allow her to go and see her son in Germany or anywhere and that all military funerals have closed caskets, apparently by order. That is just not right, though I don't have the words for it. Of course I can understand when a body is not presentable.

This crazy administration is allowed to turn our fine soldiers to hash and nobody can stop them.
